Past Trips
Croatia 2025
"This was a wonderful trip with an even more wonderful group of people. Lorna planned everything perfectly — the beautiful boat, the picturesque towns, the private coves. Even my husband, who is not a swimmer, loved every moment. 5+++ stars!"
Our 2025 Croatia swim vacation was a week-long journey along the Dalmatian Coast, combining open water swimming, island hopping, relaxed luxury, and unforgettable scenery. The trip began in Dubrovnik, where guests explored the city's historic charm before boarding a boutique yacht for the week ahead.
From there, the group traveled through some of Croatia's most beautiful island destinations, with daily opportunities to swim in crystal-clear bays, enjoy scenic marinas, visit beaches, and take in the unique character of each stop. Highlights included time around Hvar, Zlatni Rat Beach in Bol, Korčula Island, and Mljet National Park.
Throughout the week, swimmers enjoyed calm lagoons, open water sessions, time on deck, and the kind of shared experience that makes a swim holiday feel both adventurous and restorative. Each morning began with a swim briefing on deck, followed by guided open water sessions with full safety kayak support alongside the group.
The swims ranged from sheltered cove sessions to longer open water crossings, with kayakers alongside the group at all times. Whether you were an experienced open water swimmer or new to swimming beyond the lane ropes, the trip was designed to meet you where you were — and push you just enough.
Evenings were just as memorable. After a day in the water, guests explored charming Dalmatian towns on foot, gathered at waterfront cafes for drinks at sunset, and shared dinners aboard with the crew. A wine tasting at a local cellar was one of the week's standout off-water experiences — a proper introduction to Croatia's remarkable winemaking heritage.
The trip wrapped up in Split with a farewell dinner celebrating an incredible week in the water. Guests left with full hearts, tired shoulders, and more than a few plans to come back.
