Adult Beginner Classes: Build Confidence in the Water
For many adults, the thought of stepping into the pool can feel overwhelming. Water phobia is common, and trepidation often prevents people from learning this essential skill. Our Adult Beginner Classes are designed to remove intimidation and replace it with structure, patience, and encouragement.
This nurturing program begins with breathing and balance exercises, delivered in a calm, patient and reassuring manner that instils confidence before progressing to floating, gently guiding and teaching these essential skills in a slow progression to empower the novice to become a true swimmer. Part 2 of our series introduces more of the basics of Freestyle. Classes are taught in small groups, ensuring that each participant receives personal attention while also benefiting from the camaraderie of fellow beginners.
Over time, fear is replaced by confidence, and what once seemed impossible becomes second nature. Even with just one class per week, swimmers often see noticeable results after only four sessions.

Train Smarter, Race Faster – Squad Sessions for Serious Swimmers
